Season Ender - Badminton

Today everything seems to be connected to the word season ender. It was a great day. We had badminton and then dinner. Yummy duck rice!!! A good badminton match we had. Me partnering Zack and CK partnering TK. Men's doubles. Hoho!~!. Zack got very frustrated with CK because CK had been having a lot of luck on the net. Every time he hits the top of the net, the shuttlecock always falls into our side of the court. As usual he began cursing and his gestures always make the game entertaining even though we are the losing side. Suddenly CK gone out of luck. I'm not sure whether he gone out of luck or we became stronger. We fought back from 8-12 down to equal at 12-12. Then they led by 14-12. Haiz!!! Game point and CK is serving. He hit the net!!!The service is now ours. We need 2 points to play deuce. We equal at 14-14 den Zack told me if we can earn 1 more point, we consider ourself winner because it is not likely for us to beat the formidable pair of CK and TK. They then score 2 more points, 16-14. Just when we thought our hope of scoring 1 more point is impossible, we got to serve. YESH!!!15-16.We scream in joy. We wanna win!!!Zack serve. Stroke and stroke from 1 side to the other. Then i saw a space on the front right of the opponent side. I did it!! A timely drop shot. WOOT!!! 16-16. Zack say to me " woahh now got chance to win d". Zack serve again. This time he keep attacking the error prone TK. Zack is eyeing for victory. He's just waiting for a chance to kill the game. Then TK made a mistake. He gave Zack a high ball in front of the net. Zack produced an unstoppable smash. YEAH!!!!!! We won 17-16. The only time we lead is the moment we won. Haha.

Memories, Final Night

It has been more than a week since my last entry. Not that i'm so busy that i couldn't find time to blog but there are just too many things to be written. Some i decided to keep it for the new year. Some i decided not to blog it.

Anyway, this will be the final night for me to spend with a room that i've shared all my joy and tears for the past 1 and half year. A lot has happen since i moved into this room. Maybe moving out of the room is a good start for the new year. I seriously hope so.

Don't have time to continue writing as i'm suppose to clean up my room because the new owner of this room is moving in, in a few hours.

Memories that were in this room will be left in the room. Let bygones be bygones. I lead life each day awaiting for a new beginning.

You left a mark in my life but i hope to leave the memories behind.

Brain

Today i went to my first lesson for Style in Contemporary English Literature. It is a fun class but i think the lecturer is a bit pervert. He kept talking about sex and lust. His job is to interpret short stories but i don't know why he kept looking at that point of view. He was telling us about this story. It is about a man who share a cab with a girl. The girl was very sad due to her personal problems and that man wanted to console her. They are strangers to each other. According to my lecturer, the man actually wanted to have sex with the girl. The man had some sexual fantasy when he see that girl. My lecturer asked us not to just accept the story but to look within the story and interpret it. I haven't read the story yet but i think there is another view of it.

My lecturer claimed that the man actually feels that the girl is penetrable. i don't really like the word penetrable. It sounds so violent. Maybe he should use the layman's term fuckable. It might be a little rude but at least the meaning is there. I seriously prefer fuckable than penetrable. I think i need to start reading that book before the next class. At least i can voice out if i don't agree with him.

I think I'm going to like this class. The class is small and the lecturer is open-minded. When the lecturer is open-minded, it allows me space to voice out my opinion. At least there's no need for me to be afraid that i might offend him.

By the way, I'm not ah boonz wanted to act in some adult, sophisticated, art, educational, action movie.

Brainless

Some people either they are soooo deaf or they are so ignorant that they don't even care even if there is a dying person sitting right next to them. I was driving to my friend's house just now. Suddenly i saw an ambulance maybe about 100m behind me. There were a lot of cars. So the ambulance had to squeeze between lanes to escape the congestion. As a driver, when we see an ambulance behind us, we should drive to the right lane and let the ambulance passed. As i was trying to drive towards the right lane, there is this car. This car is driven by a sick person. This sick person is deaf and he/she had no feelings. When i was trying to overtake this car so that i can be on the right lane, he/she doesn't allow me to do so. He/she was blocking me, trying very hard not to allow me to be in front of him/her. I got pissed as the ambulance is getting nearer to me. In stead of overtaking the car if this sick person, i sped up and overtook the car in front of it.

Some people are so brainless. It is as if i overtake him/her then he/she will be an hour late. Late for what? His/her favourite tv show? Late for clubbing? Since it is wednesday night the ladies night. Sometimes i get really frustrated while driving. Some drivers can really do fantastic stuff on the road.

A Chinese Ghost Story

The title if this animation is A Chinese Ghost Story. It is known as 小倩 (Siu Sin) in Cantonese. I wonder how many of you knew about this animation. I personally never heard about it before until Shu told me last week. I went looking for the animation and I found it. I watched it 2 days ago and i'm totally impressed. I never knew Tsui Hark produced an animation before.

It is a love story about a man, Ning (宁采臣) and a beautiful ghost, Siu Sin (小倩). Ning is a debt collector who wanders around with his dog, Kam Kin ( 金坚) to collect debts across the land of China. Ning is grieving over his lost love Siu Lan (小兰) who married someone else because she was neglected by Ning who work day and night just to ensure a better future for them. During one of his trip to collect debts, Ning entered a ghost town. When he was in the ghost town, Siu Sin spotted him and knew that he is a human. Siu Sin who works for Lou Lou (姥姥), a thousand year old tree evil spirit who need to consume the soul of human to maintain her beauty, wanted to capture the soul of Ning and present it to Lou Lou. While she was trying to captivate him with her beauty, a ghostbuster, Yin (燕赤霞) came to the ghost town to extinguish the ghosts there. Ning and Siu Sin tried to escape from the wrath of Yin. Yin saw Ning and Siu Sin and gave chase. Yin attacked and hurt Siu Sin. Ning begged Yin to let her go. Siu Tip(小蝶) who also work of Lou Lou reported to Lou Lou about the situation. Lou Lou came to the town in time to save Siu Sin and fought with Yin. During the battle, Siu Sin and Ning escaped. After escaping, Siu Sin and Ning were saved by a staircase ghost who brought them to the Reincarnation Train. The train bring ghosts to reincarnate everyday. While in the train, Siu Tip attack Ning and wanted to take him back to Lou Lou. Siu Sin fought with Siu Tip in order to save Ning. Accidentally Siu Tip zapped Siu Sin and Siu Sin fell. Then dawn broke. As a ghost, Siu Sin cannot be exposed to the sun. So she hide inside the umbrella of Ning. During the journey back to the Ghost Town, they met Yin. Yin believed that Ning and Siu Sin were close friend. He decided not to extinguish Siu Sin. Suddenly, a monk, Pak Wan (白云) and his apprentice Sap Fong (十方) appeared. They wanted to extinguish Siu Sin. Yin helped them escaped. They managed to reach the Ghost Town just in time to see Siu Sin's love, San Yiu (黑山老妖) concert which is held every year during the Ghost Festival. While she was enjoying herself dancing on the shoulder of San Yiu, she accidentally offended him by pulling of his hair. San Yiu got very angry and attacked Siu Sin. Ning wonders why he treat her like that. All of a sudden, the situation turned chaotic because Pak Wan and Sap Fong came to the Ghost Town and started to extinguish ghosts. Siu Sin and Ning took the opportunity to run when San Yiu were fighting with Pak Wan. They reached a cave. At the cave, Ning allowed Siu Sin to present his soul to Lou Lou. Siu Sin extracted Ning's soul from his body and bring it to Lou Lou. When Lou Lou was about to consume Ning. Siu Sin regretted and save Ning with the help of Siu Tip. Ning's soul went back to his body and the planned to reincarnate together. During reincarnation, they have to dodge the Heartless Hammers. Once hit by the hammers, you will forget your past in the new life. In order for them to remember each other in their next life, they have to dodge the Heartless Hammers. They took the Reincarnation Train. Upon reaching the Door of Reincarnation, Pak Wan and Sap Fong tried to stop them. Yin came and helped them. Yin used up all his power to stop Pak Wan. Pak Wan who survive Yin's final blow lost all his powers as well. After Ning and Siu Sin entered the Door of Reincarnation, they dodged the hammers. In the confusion, Ning was pushed out of the door. The door close and he didn't managed to reincarnate. He was very sad because he thought Siu Sin reincarnated. Suddenly, Kam Kin, the loyal dog of Ning pushed Ning's umbrella to him. Siu Sin also didn't reincarnate. So they lived happily ever after.

The ending is kind of hilarious. If you wanna know how funny it is, go watch the animation. Guaranteed worth watching. It is very difficult to find the animation now because it was made, exactly 10 years ago, in 1997. Even the voice casting is star-studded.

This animation deserve 2 thumbs up. Perfect casting and I rarely see animation from a Hong Kong production house. It's a good start but i wonder if this the only animation or is there other animation from Hong Kong production house that i didn't know?

Manchester United 1 Liverpool 0

Just finish watching clashed of the titans, Manchester United vs Liverpool on ESPN. I would like to say, it is not a deserving win for Manchester United. Liverpool worked so hard through out the whole game and they lost. Meanwhile Manchester United players especially the midfielders and strikers just walked around see got ball kick no ball then jalan-jalan. I seriously salute the MU defend. I can see that they are working very hard. Patrice Evra, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand and Wes Brown. Even though they make mistakes but at least they are doing something.

I was watching the game and then suddenly i started to count the number of MU players on field by trying to recall the names that were mentioned by the commentator. How come only got 10 MU players? Got 1 tio sent off ar? It was than that i saw him. Our great Manchester United Legend, Ryan Giggs. Guess what?!?! I only saw him on the hour mark. Woooohooo....i must be blind.

Carlos Tevez goal was a lucky one. He was at the right spot at the right time and a Liverpool player ( if not mistaken is Benayoun ) was also at the right spot at the right time to make Carlos Tevez onside. If it's not lucky than it must be you-know-what-i-mean.

Wayne Rooney wasn't doing anything. He is playing his usual bull-style football. Christiano Ronaldo was running around and around and around and around and .........( it goes on) The only thing i saw Anderson doing was chasing after balls that we know he couldn't get. Why is he fielded in the first place? Hargreaves oh Hargreaves....do you need to use your head when you can use your leg? I saw u headed the ball 3 times in 2 minutes.

As i was saying, there's something i enjoy watching about the game, Manchester United Defence. I shall describe it as the Ultimate. Evra and Vidic basically chase down and dispossessed every ball every time Liverpool attack. Ferdinand is simply superb being the last man. If you can get passed him, you score the goal. Brown was quite ambitious because i saw him running up to attack but he did a good job behind, closing down and clearing a few balls. Van der Sar is just doing his usual work but i think he had a tough and stress time today.

I only manage to see my favourite Manchester United player during the last 10 minutes. Maybe that's the reason why i complained about MU midfield. LOL. Why no Michael Carrick? He only came on as a substitute on the 83 minute. I just love to see his long pass. How did he make it so accurate?


It was a long time since I last watched a Liverpool match. The old Liverpool is so boring. Defend, defend, defend then counter attack. That's the reason why their matches always end up goalless or winning by a margin of 1 goal. That is also the reason why i never like seeing the old Liverpool play. I got a shock today when i see them playing against MU. I never knew Liverpool can play such a fast pace game. This shows how long has it been since i last saw Liverpool play.

Stevie G is still my idol but i'm not a Liverpool fan. I'm surprise to see Harry Kewell, Jamie Carragher,Sami Hyypia and John Arne Riise still around. Some new faces like Alvaro Arbeloa (when the commentator said his name i thought i heard abalone). Did Peter Crouch grow taller?!?!? I've always been told that Mascherano is always dominating the midfield. Today i witnessed it myself but he need to control his temper.

Generally, it is a very entertaining game. It has everything a football match should have. The game just lacked a little bit of equality. Too much attacking from Liverpool. Too much defending to be done by Manchester United. Fairly, it is a good game (GG).

Queen Street Wan Ton Mee

Few weeks ago, i came across this book in Borders that list out all the best hawker food in Penang. Yesterday i took an effort to go hunt down one of them, Queen Street Wan Ton Mee. I knew Queen Street is somewhere in the Little India. Must be next to King Street!! There's only one kopitiam there but i don't see any Wan Ton Mee. I parked my car and went searching for the famous Wan Ton Mee stall. I was looking at the front of the kopitiam and I spotted the usual hawker food like Char Koay Teow, Koay Teow T'ng, Hockkien Prawn Mee and etc. Where's the Wan Ton Mee? Then i saw it. It was situated at the side of the kopitiam. If you don't walk to the side, you can never see it.

I expect that stall to be crowded but to my surprise, the uncle was sitting there drinking kopi. So i ordered the normal dry wan ton mee. I expect it to cost around rm4-5 since it was listed as Penang Famous Hawker Stall but it caught me by surprise when it only cost rm 2.70.

The Wan Ton Mee looks normal. Soya Sauce with char siew mix mix a bit of sambal. 3 wan ton, kailan and some chopped spring onion. Nothing special.

When i started eating, woahh...the aroma of Wan Ton Mee filled my nostrils. Seriously it smells good. I took the first bite. The moment I tasted it, it deserved to be listed as one of the Penang Famous Wan Ton Mee. It is not oily but the sambal is very salty. So if you go eat, don't ask for sambal.

Happy Birthday to Me

Whahaha...thanks a lot to all my friends. I love you guys!! Without them, my birthday will just be quiet. Thanks to them a had a meaningful and happening birthday. A lot of first time that night. First time i see Boonz eat oily pork. First time ah Wong served me like a servant. First time no CCW and his camera. Most memorable is first time got ice cream as a cake. Changes

I had a great birthday and a great vacation now. Now i'm in a quiet room blogging in genting. My parents, my sisters and my brother all went out but i choose to stay in this quiet room. Reflecting on my life. A lot had happen. Friendship, Love, Education, Future and the never ending Financial issue. Too many to be handled by a guy who just turned 22, two days ago.

Disappointment is part of my life. When u trusted someone too much, this is the consequences. Never had it came across my mind that it would be you. Nevermind the past but the future is different. It will never be the same.

I'm now looking forward in finishing my degree so that i can move on to some other place. Yes. I'm hiding from you. If i can't choose not to be your friend then i might as well choose not to see a friend. It makes everyone happy. You told me it wasn't easy for you. It takes time. Don't worry about me. Others happiness is always my priority.

Never had i thought we could end up like that. I thought you were a true friend. I thought you will listen to me and support me but to my surprise, you disagree with me. You begin to treat me like some hopeless stranger. You get frustrated talking to me. Am i disturbing your life? If i did, you can just tell me.

Maybe it is really the time of our life. We should move on with our life and forget about the schooling days where we share everything in life together. People change. We change. People grew. We grew. I understand. You understand. Just let time do the dirty work while we suffer the flow of our life.

Never had i thought we too will have this ending. You named me reliable but i think i'm no more. If it is suppose to happen like that, then i'll accept it with open arms. Moreover, I cannot undo destiny. So i'm forced to accept it.

Some honest advise to you. You should really start to think about how others feel and be less selfish in life. I'm not a stupid potato. Your lies doesn't work on me anymore. How could it work when you repeated the same lie? Anyway, your happiness had always been my top priority.

Never expect to receive a birthday present so early. Haha. Thanks Shu for the early birthday present. I like it a lot. Well, of course you wouldn't send me a present in which i don't like right? LOL. Thanks a lot. Even though it is 1 week earlier but i appreciate you still remember my birthday. How can we forget each other birthday... 12/6 and 6/12 wakaka...
