The Gentle Crackdown 2 (秀才愛上兵) is the sequel to The Gentle Crackdown (秀才遇著兵). Both series are not related. But the sequel is as good as the first drama.
The Gentle Crackdown (秀才遇著兵) is starred by Moses Chan and Niki Chow.
The Gentle Crackdown 2 (秀才愛上兵) is starred by Steven Ma and Yumiko Cheng.
I've been reading forums regarding the sequel but a lot of people dislike Yumiko Cheng. But i personally think she's cute and since it is her first tvb series (if i'm not mistaken), her acting is not bad comparing to a lot of other first timers.
Do watch The Gentle Crackdown 2 (秀才愛上兵) if you guys have time. It is also not too late to watch The Gentle Crackdown (秀才遇著兵). Both are enjoyable and catchy.

wtf hilarious??? i think its fucking lame....maybe i just cant take yumiko's Cantonese, her accent OMG...and she even sings...who the fuck buys her album....maybe her "tong heung" which happens to have similar Cantonese accent.
